Setup your Dock
Welcome to DockIt Alarm. Follow the steps below to set up your Dock, wake up on time, and stop morning scrolling.
1. Download the DockIt Alarm App
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone.
- Search for DockIt Alarm or download here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dockit-alarm/id6762404925
- Download the app and create your account.
2. Pair Your Dock With Your Phone
- Open the DockIt Alarm app.
- Follow the in-app setup instructions to pair your Dock (tap your phone on the Dock when prompted to successfully pair your Dock with your account).
- Allow any required permissions so DockIt can properly run your alarms and Morning Focus mode.
- Once paired, your phone will know when you physically tap your Dock.
3. Set Your Alarm
- In the DockIt Alarm app, choose your wake-up time.
- Set your repeat schedule if you want the alarm to go off on certain days.
- Save your alarm before going to bed.
4. Turning Off Your Alarm
- Your alarm will go off like a regular Apple Alarm. You must swipe to open your phone, and turn off your alarm while on the DockIt Alarm app
- Place your Dock somewhere that forces you to get up.
- Good spots include your desk, dresser, bathroom counter, or across the room.
- Do not keep your Dock next to your bed.
- The goal is simple: when your alarm goes off, you have to physically get out of bed.
5. Wake Up and Tap Your Dock
- When your alarm goes off, you cannot simply turn it off from bed.
- Get up and tap your phone to your Dock.
- Once your Dock is tapped, your alarm turns off.
- Morning Focus mode is automatically activated.
- Important: only apps that you have chosen to be blocked will be blocked. You can choose those apps during your account creation, or in settings.
6. Start Your Morning Without Snoozing or Scrolling
- You are now out of bed.
- Your distracting apps are blocked.
- Your morning starts with action instead of snoozing.
- Use that first win to start your day with discipline.
